About Me

I am one of the Senior Admission Counselors in the Admissions Visitors Center at the University of Iowa.  I graduated from Iowa in 2008 with a degree in Psychology and have been working in admissions ever since.  I originally hail from Lakeville, MN, one of the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities.  Once here at Iowa I took on a number of odd jobs around the college, from work in Admissions (Orientation and the Visitor’s Center) to a research lab, and a one year stint as a bus driver for Cambus.

Some of you may see me on the road throughout the year, as I work at College Fairs and visit high schools in Chicago and also around the Twin Cities.  I also coordinate our virtual visit programs, which puts on webinars throughout the year for students to receive more information about Iowa.  I live and breathe Hawkeye football, and am somewhat of a self-described nerd when you really get down to it.  I look forward to writing more about Iowa Admissions and answering all of your questions!
