\"\"<\/a>These past few weeks have been so crazy with homework and other activities that I have not had the time to blog.\u00a0 Personally one of the most exciting things that has happened since my last post has been the visit of Sportsnation to the University of Iowa.\u00a0 If you’re not familiar with the show it’s a sports show on ESPN hosted by Colin Cowherd and Michelle Beadle.\u00a0 The morning started of with Colin’s radio show The Herd.\u00a0 While standing in the hot sun I decided that before Sportsnation I was going to change into something cooler.\u00a0 When I got back students could sign up for free football tickets and received a free throwback t-shirt for the upcoming Ball State game. I talked to a lot of people around me and I met up with my friend after she got out of class.\u00a0 We were right by the stage so we were all excited for the show to start.\u00a0 By this point the clouds began to get darker and a cold \"\"<\/a>draft was coming into Hubbard Park.\u00a0 The producer of the show said it was going to be postponed due to lightning and that we were all welcome to hang out in the IMU and wait for it to pass.\u00a0 I looked around at the people I had gotten to know and asked my friend if she was willing to stay and wait out the storm where we were.\u00a0 We didn’t think it would be that bad.\u00a0 As soon as I had finished my sentence the rain came.\u00a0 POURING!!!\u00a0 Luckily my friend had an umbrella, so five of us huddled under her umbrella and waited it out.\u00a0 Everyone was in good spirits and we even said a few cheers.\u00a0 Twenty minutes later the rain was over and the hosts came back out to start the show.\u00a0 About a half hour later my friend had to leave for her class, and the rain returned.\u00a0 The show was really fun and I enjoyed feeling the adrenaline of Iowa Hawkeye fans.
