{"id":246,"date":"2012-08-16T15:28:33","date_gmt":"2012-08-16T20:28:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.admissions.uiowa.edu\/andi\/?p=246"},"modified":"2012-08-16T15:28:33","modified_gmt":"2012-08-16T20:28:33","slug":"first-week-craziness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.admissions.uiowa.edu\/andi\/2012\/08\/first-week-craziness\/","title":{"rendered":"First Week Craziness!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s just midway through my first week, classes haven&#8217;t even started yet and I&#8217;m already desperate from some down time!<\/p>\n<p>Between moving in, organizing my things,making time to see friends, marching band &#8216;hell week&#8217;, and my sorority&#8217;s work week I feel like I barely have a moment to breathe! Luckily early this morning there was a rain storm with made our marching field too wet to march on so I got a break this afternoon! That&#8217;s the only reason I&#8217;m able to sit in my sorority house and type up this blog entry! This week has gone so fast I feel like I&#8217;ve barely had time to register the fact that I&#8217;m even in Iowa City at all! I feel like once classes start and things slow down a little bit, I&#8217;ll be able to fully dive into life in Iowa City. I absolutely love it here. It&#8217;s great to be back with all my band friends and sorority sisters. I&#8217;m super excited for this marching band season, and so far I&#8217;m absolutely in love with living in my sorority house! I hope to eventually down the road make a more in depth blog post about my experiences living in my sorority house!
