Between having around two exams each week, sorority recruitment on the weekends, working two campus jobs, attending club meetings, keeping up with homework, and going to class, my schedule fills up quickly and can honestly leave me feeling really run down. It can just get frustrating.<\/p>\n<p>One thing that has helped me the most is really making sure I study in smaller increments instead of cramming the night before an exam. Even spending 30 minutes reviewing a lecture or working through practice problems makes studying feel much more manageable and, in my opinion, is a much better study method in general! By the time the exam comes around, I\u2019m reviewing information instead of trying to learn or teach it to myself right before the exam.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve also learned to take advantage of small gaps in my schedule. Sometimes that means studying between classes or getting homework done early because I know I have work, recruitment, or a club meeting later.<\/p>\n<p>Balancing everything during midterms isn\u2019t always easy, but staying a little bit ahead makes a huge difference. I may not be able to add more hours to my day, but I can be more intentional with the time I have.
