This week however, is a bit different. \u00a0Today I walked to class in -3 Degree temperature with a wind chill of -20!!! I thought I would share some tips that help me get through the cold.<\/p>\n<p>1) Invest in a long coat: My friends back home call them sleeping bag coats, here they&#8217;re called parkas. \u00a0No matter what they&#8217;re called, they are a necessity. The longer the better!!<\/p>\n<p>2) Learn the bus system: At the beginning of the year I never made an effort to learn how to use Bongo (the University of Iowa bus app). But now as I&#8217;m trekking to class in the cold, I wish I would have.<\/p>\n<p>3) 2nd Semester, plan classes close together: It is much nicer going from class to class rather than having to come back to my dorm in between. When it&#8217;s cold it&#8217;s hard to get the motivation to go to class.
