Especially if you all have different majors. I have wonderful people in my life. I find that my friends are what keep me going on the hardest days, and that’s because I surround myself with people who care deeply. I know I can call them or send them a message when I need a break. I love setting up plans, and so I thought I would talk about how to make plans in a BUSY college schedule.

Study Session: Ok as I said, I don’t have a lot of friends in my own major, but I am totally fine with that. I find that if I work on studying with people who are in my field of study, it rarely works because we always get distracted. So I love when I study with my friends who are doing things completely different and even things that I don’t even understand.

Girls Self Care Night: This doesn’t have to be anything crazy, but it could literally be going to Crumble Cookie or Taco Bell and talking about your feelings. This is one of my favorite plans to make, and it can be spontaneous or planned. I mean, last week my friend texted me to ask if I wanted to get food and chat. I love a self-care night.

Celebrate Little Wins: Whether your friend got a promotion at work or other exciting news, make an event out of it. I believe celebrating even the smallest wins, even getting an A on that paper, is important. My friends and I celebrate every win. I love to see them succeed, and they are the same.

Dinner Plans: Whether you go downtown to many restaurants or a dining location on campus, this is a simple and fun way to get some time with your friends, and it’s not a lot of planning. I literally will text my friends asking if they want to grab food to go and study together.

As a busy college student, you need to take breaks.
