The University of Iowa Office of Admissions is looking for a few great students to share their experience as a Hawkeye!
Our Experience Iowa Ambassadors will blog, video blog, and be social media influencers for the University of Iowa Office of Admissions. Your stories, photos, and videos will be shared on our website and you could be featured on our social channels.
This is your opportunity to help future Hawkeyes with their college search. Sharing your personal experiences can make a huge difference.
If chosen, we’ll give you some great Iowa swag to help show your Hawkeye spirit!

What are the requirements?
If chosen, and to keep the Iowa swag, you must agree to these terms of participation (we’ll send you a formal agreement):
- Post at least two written entries per month about your life as an Iowa student.
- Participate in at least one social media campaign per month.
What makes a great ambassador?
Our ideal ambassador is a good student, a creative and charismatic storyteller, and an insightful observer; someone who can share their experience with style.
Our goal is to recruit ambassadors—including new first-year students and upperclass students—who demonstrate the friendliness, talent, and aspirations that make the Hawkeye community so spectacular.
We understand that everyone has different strengths. You may be a stronger writer or you may be more comfortable in front of the camera. Maybe you’re a social-savvy superstar. We want to showcase your strengths while helping you develop your skills in those other areas.
