The first day at the University of Iowa was very exciting for most! New beginnings,  meeting new friendly faces, and more learning! Here are what some of my freshman friends had to say about their first day at the University of Iowa!

How’d it go?

“My first day of school went unexpectedly well today. I was really happy that I found all of my classes and was on time for all of them! Hopefully, tomorrow goes just as well. ”

How did you prepare for class?

“I prepared for class by having all of my stuff ready and looking over the syllabus. I also walked around and found some of my buildings the day before which really helped me figure out where I was going for today!”

What is something you learned today that will help you get through freshman year?

“Something that I learned today that will help me get through freshman year is bring an umbrella!!! Something else I learned is how to work the Cambus app so I could catch a bus to my classes!”

How’d it go?

“My first day at the University of Iowa went pretty well! Loved all my classes and meet a couple new friends from those classes.”

How did you prepare for class?

“To prepare for my classes I looked them up beforehand, making sure I knew where they were and the supplies I needed (such as textbooks).”

What is something you learned today that will help you get through freshman year?

“Today I learned how to use the bus system at the University of Iowa. Getting on the wrong one was not fun!”
