Fall Leaves

Fall gives the Pentacrest that aesthetic look no other season can compete with.The perfect combo of colorful leaves, stunning sunsets, and cozy sweater weather makes fall the best time of year!

Fall Sunset

Fall sunsets are unbeatable! You get the warm sunshine during the day, and then as the sun dips, the sky melts from orange into pink as it cools off. The best spot to catch it? Definitely with Sunset Club! They’re out there almost every day on the Pentacrest facing west—10/10 recommend joining them for the perfect view.

Homecoming Season

Homecoming happens at the peak of fall—late October, right before Halloween! Last year, we got Swae Lee for the concert, plus a pre-season talk with Stephen A. Smith and Caitlin Clark hyping up the women’s basketball season. I’m already excited to see what’s coming this year! And, of course, the next day was the homecoming game, with the student section bringing all the Hawkeye energy as we watched the Hawks take down the Purdue Boilermakers!
