I am from Ankeny, Iowa. I graduated from DMACC May of 2010 with my AA degree. This year I will be a senior. I am double-majoring in history and journalism. This year,  I am living in the Lodge. Music has always been a powerful influence in my life. Music gives me inspiration to write and express myself. I chose to come to the University of Iowa because it’s not too far away from home, and Iowa is highly ranked for both programs that I am majoring in. I know I will enjoy my next few years at Iowa and GO HAWKS!!!
