First I want to welcome everybody to my official University of Iowa blog page. At this point I have no idea if anyone will read this, but if you do I will try to be as honest as I can about the University of Iowa, good and bad, and hopefully give you a better insight on how the University operates and my personal experiences as a first-year transfer student.
So today was my first day in a big lecture hall. I would say there were about 250 students in the class. I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I walked in the professor was playing music from the ’80s. In my opinion that’s always a good sign. When the class started, she lowered one of the largest screens I have ever seen.
