Hello! My name is Amber and I am from Spirit Lake, Iowa. My Iowa experience has been everything, but ordinary. After my sophomore year at Iowa, I took some time off of school to work on the Obama Campaign, intern in the White House, and work for the House Truman Fund.  After so much time away from school, I look forward to graduating with a BS in political science next year! I was born a Hawkeye, so choosing Iowa was an easy decision.  This year I am living on the west- side of campus and am excited to be so close to Kinnick this fall! I am from a big family and they serve as my motivation and entertainment (there is never a dull moment with six siblings). In my spare time I enjoy reading and running.
