It’s just midway through my first week, classes haven’t even started yet and I’m already desperate from some down time!

Between moving in, organizing my things,making time to see friends, marching band ‘hell week’, and my sorority’s work week I feel like I barely have a moment to breathe! Luckily early this morning there was a rain storm with made our marching field too wet to march on so I got a break this afternoon! That’s the only reason I’m able to sit in my sorority house and type up this blog entry! This week has gone so fast I feel like I’ve barely had time to register the fact that I’m even in Iowa City at all! I feel like once classes start and things slow down a little bit, I’ll be able to fully dive into life in Iowa City. I absolutely love it here. It’s great to be back with all my band friends and sorority sisters. I’m super excited for this marching band season, and so far I’m absolutely in love with living in my sorority house! I hope to eventually down the road make a more in depth blog post about my experiences living in my sorority house! But for now it’s back to marching!
