A normal day as a freshman at Iowa is basically classes, walking everywhere, food, friends, and trying not to forget what I have due that day.
My morning usually starts with my alarm going off and me convincing myself I have “five more minutes.” Then I’m rushing to get ready and walking to class, hoping I don’t get lost or show up late.
After classes, I’ll grab food with friends, study, or go to something happening on campus. Some days are planned out, while other days turn into random adventures that I never expected.
By the end of the day, I’m usually exhausted, but I’m also reminded of how much I love being at Iowa. I’m still figuring things out, but getting to meet new people, try new things, and make memories along the way makes it all worth it.
