I got one of these suckers a few days ago. >:[
Midterm delinquency notices are given to students who aren’t doing so well in their classes. In my case, I’m failing my Anthropology class. 🙁
I didn’t realize how far behind I was and I hate that I let this happen!
I’m freaking out because this semester is killing me and I can’t handle it!!
I need help. 🙁

I’m pretty sure its mandatory because it gives the students time to decide if they should drop the class or not. Midterm delinquencies are given just before the dropping deadline.
And thank you! I did talk to my TA and I ended up doing okay after making some changes. I’m glad I didn’t drop it. 🙂

Do you know if its mandatory for professors to give students a midterm report if they are failing the class, or is it just an option for them? Any help would be appreciated.
As for bouncing back from one, I’ve been there before. Try talking to your professor to see if they have any ideas on how you could study differently, or talk to someone in your class and see if they would be generous enough to help you understand the work. Other than that, just keep your professor updated on how you feel you’re understanding, or not understanding the work. They tend to be more lenient and are very helpful when you go to them for things like this.
