Hello Everyone
It is finally the season where Christmas drinks and fuzzy blankets come into the equation. Not only is it getting cold outside but we as a student population are so ready for break. From August to the week before Thanksgiving is the longest part of the college year with no breaks. Not only have we all had non stop tests, work and lives we are also getting close to the end of the semester so we are about cram for all the finals that we will have if not during finals week the week before.
That being said my November has been very eventful and while not all pleasant, (college stress is for sure real) I still find the good. Not only did I have a really successful choir concert, I also have been doing well at my job and working hard. No matter what happens I always try to find time to rest. Recently I have been taking the time meditate. I personally use an app but you can do meditation anywhere. I like to use the Calm app I do pay for it but its only $3 a month.
I also wanted to say doing your work ahead of the weekend is helpful. I like to the do all the work for the next week before I do anything fun on the weekends. If that is finishing my paper from getting all your small assignments in. Lastly, every Sunday I check off all that I have finished in my planner. I then spend my weekends just resting and reorganizing my room. I love doing my laundry and watching my favorite show. Or I take my extra time to study or edit my papers.
Well, if November brings you down just know it will get better it can be a overwhelming time. One more week till Thanksgiving break. Have a good week and keep on that fighting spirit.
Cheers
Rose
