It’s the end of March, which means spring has finally arrived in Iowa City. After a FREEZING winter filled with ice storms and snow, it is finally warm enough to wear shorts again. The grass is also finally green again. Right before spring break, it was so warm that I studied for nearly all my exams outside. I was disappointed to come back from break to it being cloudy, cold, and rainy. It’s warm and sunny again as I’m writing this, but I know in a week it’s going to be back to cloudy fifty fifty-degree weather. I’m hopeful for some consistent warm spring weather in the weeks to come.

Spring in Iowa City really does like to play tricks on us! Just when you think it’s finally here, another cold front rolls in. But those few warm days make the wait worth it—fingers crossed for more sunshine soon!
