5 Weeks to Wellness Challenge!

As a student at The University of Iowa, you will get more than your fair share of emails from the University advertising different groups, programs, events… the list goes on. But given the nature of my New Year’s Resolution (as I described in my last post), one of the most recent University emails caught my eye. The 5 Weeks to Wellness Challenge!

I’m definitely a person that can lack the motivation to go to the gym after a long day of class and work, so the simplicity of this challenge is what attracted me to it. Not to mention at the end you can win some cool prizes! Who doesn’t like free stuff right? Without much hesitation I signed myself up to take on the challenge! I’m even in the process of trying to recruit some of my friends to join me! So now before the challenge begins next week I’m trying to think of times in my schedule to fit in some activity, as well as trying to think of some new, healthier meals to try out!

The basis of this challenge is to keep you consistent in your activity levels, eat healthier, while also encouraging you to try new things.
