I was not expecting my first semester of college to go by this fast. It feels like just yesterday I was moving in!! This semester on campus has been an experience I will never ever forget. I am a big believer that everything happens for a reason, and I’m so glad I ended up at Iowa.  Since Thanksgiving break is soon…. here is a list of things I’m thankful for…

I’m so thankful…..

• That I decided to live on campus in the dorms because it turned out my best friends I’ve made so far live no more than 20 feet away from me.
• For the beautiful rec centers that keep me motivated to go to the gym
• For the days when the sun got to shine a little brighter and warmer than it should in November:)
• That my family has been so supportive of my studies.
• For the overwhelming amount of friends and new faces I get to meet every day.
• For the unlimited supply of fresh fruit in the dining hall:)))))
• That I can take naps in the middle of the school day when I stayed up a little too late chatting with friends…
• For my amazing roommate who I met through the Facebook page!!
• For leggings and sweatshirts….. after having to wear a uniform for all of my life going to a private school… these truly make up my closet now.

This list could go on and on… but it’s just a few things that I reflected upon and am really thankful for… Happy Thanksgiving :)
