About Me

  • I’m from Boone, Iowa.
  • I’m pre-med. My major is Biomedical Engineering.
  • I lived in Currier Hall as a freshman; no complaints. I am now living in the Phi Delta Theta house; it’s great!
  • I’m a sophomore.
  • My motivation comes from everywhere. I have a lot of goals and everything I do plays a role in reaching them. I love long-term projects because it’s so easy to keep myself busy when I know why what I’m working toward. (Getting into med school is a good example of a long term project.) I also get a lot of motivation from family and my fraternity.
  • Strangely, the biggest draw of Iowa for me has been Hawkeye football. That may sound like a really foolish reason to pick a school, but coming to games every fall has let me see Iowa City in at it’s best. I’ve always loved the college atmosphere that is so present here and I’m thrilled to finally be a part of it.
  • Just thought I’d list some interests: Snowboarding, Golf, Football, Chemistry, Travel, Medicine, “House MD,” Sailing…
