Anxiety and airports

I am sitting in the Moline airport waiting for my flight to McAllen, Texas and I am now breathing somewhat easier.

When I checked in they did not have a seat assignment for me…if you have flown before, you know that it could mean an overbooked flight! I try not to get a panic attack, but I can already feel my lunch in my throat. Then I begin to think of my luggage, I haven’t had much luck actually getting my bag the same night. Then I think what if I have to wait until tomorrow…my entire day would be ruined.

I hope all will go excellent and I get a good night’s rest, but if not, I will figure it out and make do with my resources.

Luckily, I got a seat assignment! Now if I can get my bags when I land….this may be a great day. But, until I’m actually in my hotel room with my bags will my heart go back to it’s normal speed.
