Hi everyone! My name is Karen and I’m currently majoring in Elementary Education at the University of Iowa. I was originally born in Africa before following family to move to the United States in 2006. 

I entered the University of Iowa as a junior, and am motivated by finding a solution to inequity in society. I decided to come to Iowa after my sister previously attended Iowa.
