My name is Kashish Patel, and I am from De Soto, Iowa. I am going to be a first-year, studying Human Physiology on the Pre-Medicine track in hopes of pursuing Pediatric Oncology as a career.  I will be living in Petersen Hall this fall. I am very excited to be on campus because Iowa has been a dream for me since I was in 5th grade.

Now that I am a part of the Hawkeye family, I am truly living my dream. I chose Iowa mainly because of its medical programs and because of the community that I get to be a part of.
