Meg

My name is Meg and I am an International Student from Yorkshire in England. I came to Iowa as part of an exchange programme from my University in Hull where I study American Studies. This will be my third year of Uni, (but first year and only year at Iowa) so I guess you would call me a Junior. I’m living in Quadrangle Hall and am adjusting to the novelty of a communal bathroom! I haven’t been in Iowa long but from what I have seen so far I am completely in love with the University and the City. The river and the Old Capitol Building are especially beautiful around sunset. My interests are primarily with literature, both reading and writing, and away from academics I am an enthusiastic cook and baker – I can’t make food look pretty but I can make it taste good. To sum myself up, I am a typical English tea drinker, coffee lover, plant killer, cat enthusiast, jigsaw doer, book worm and budding chef who’s looking forward to living her American Dream.
