Learn about Super Heroes and Villains

Just in time for many current University of Iowa students who will begin registering for their next semester courses this week, The University of Iowa has revealed a brand new course: “Super” Heroes and Villains. The course has been created by the English department and is worth three credit hours.

The class will focus on character development and the impact they have had on our culture. Examples of reading material for this course include: All-Star Superman, The Dark Knight Returns, Batgirl, Miss Marvel, as well as viewings of The Incredibles and The Rocketeer.

This class will end on May 9^th, just in time for some blockbuster superhero movies this summer!

I may have to consider re-enrolling for this class….Maybe I’ll see some of you in the classroom!
