Fall Favorites

Greetings readers,

As October comes to an end, I am going to tell you one of my favorite fall activities that I did this semester.  My friend and I, like many University of Iowa students, went to Wilson’s Apple Orchard.  Once we arrived, we walked around for a little while and admired the property.  Then we went and picked flowers.  The flowers that we picked, we made into little bouquets to take home to enjoy! We also got some fun food while we were there.  My friends and I shared a cheese pizza that was very good.  Then we got some sweet treats.  A couple of friends got apple cider donuts, but I personally got an apple cider slushy, which I thought was really good.  Wilson’s has plenty of other fun activities that you can do as well, such as tractor rides and picking pumpkins.  I hope this blog post has inspired you to go to Wilson’s in the next month.  It truly is the best way to get into the fall spirit.  Two girls sitting on a staircase that's lined with pumpkins.
