Greetings readers,
I realized that I have never blogged on here about all of my favorite food options. The first thing I must mention is that the University of Iowa campus has three great dining halls: Catlett, Burge, and Hillcrest. My personal favorite is Hillcrest because of the Build Your Own Taco and Burrito station. Moving on to off-campus options, there are many great choices for whatever you are in the mood for. For an end-of-weekend treat, I enjoy going to the Airliner every Sunday to participate in $1 slices. If I am in the mood for something sweet, I enjoy getting frozen yogurt from Yotopia. If frozen treats aren’t your thing, I recommend that you head to the Bread Garden, where you can seasonally find pumpkin muffins and very delicious toffee cookies. Finally, my favorite foods wouldn’t be complete without giving a coffee shop recommendation. My favorite place on campus to grab a drink would be Midnight Coffee; their chai is to die for. These are just some of my own favorite places; there are so many good places for you to explore for food in Iowa City!
