As I sit in my dorm room, now filled to the brim with little relics of my life.
I could never have begun to imagine how fast my freshman year of college would go by.
Everything now seems like a blur, but there was so much anxiety and apprehension leading to this journey.
I remember the week leading up to moving in. How anxious and stressed I was about every single aspect of my current life. I remember packing up my parents’ car, unloading in a dorm room I had never seen before. There are so many memories I have yet to unpack, and I cannot believe that in just a few more weeks, I won’t ever step foot in this room again.
For all incoming freshmen here at UIOWA. I encourage you to take a deep breath, slow down, and soak every moment in.
It truly goes by so much faster than you think.
Much love,
Sophia
