It’s no secret that drinking exists Iowa City, as it does in most places.
If this is your thing, it can be super exciting! Going out with new friends, trying out the new bars, all good times (at 21+ of course).
But what if you can’t/don’t drink?
You’re not alone! Many people, for whatever their reasons may be, choose not to drink, even after turning 21.
What can you do instead?
- Go to the bar and get a non alcoholic drink!
- Go watch a movie with friends
- Go to Studio 13 and watch a drag show
- Go see the cats at Kitty Corner
- Go get froyo!
- Spend the night in and order food
Choosing not to drink is a personal choice, and it is 100% valid. There are still so many ways to get out, meet people, and have fun!
