After months and months of sitting inside, hopelessly waiting for the warmer weather to arrive, I can finally say that winter is almost over! The colder weather is finally making its way out of Iowa City and I couldn’t be happier. I am loving being able to catch some rays and be outside for longer than 10 minutes!!!

One of my favorite things to do is sit outside behind the IMU! It is a great place to do homework, meet up with friends, or just to get out and people-watch! I never thought Seasonal Depression was real, but I am starting to believe it is. This past week being able to sit out in the nicer weather, I have felt more productive, happier, and more optimistic. I’m not going to lie I was a little down in the dumps this winter, not being able to have as much human interaction as normal. I encourage all of you reading this to put down your phone, laptop, or whatever you are reading this on and go outside!!!!
