Hey Hawks, as the weather starts to get nicer, I thought I would share some of my favorite study spots around campus.

Depending on where you live next year, one of my favorite places to study is the lawn behind Rienow and Petersen. There is so much grass, and when the weather is nice, that area is always full of people. While there may not be a lot of tables out there, there is something refreshing about lying out a blanket and studying outside. It is a great place to relax while still getting work done. Also, side note: West side is the best side!

My next favorite place to study when the weather is warm is outside behind the IMU. I like this spot because you are right by the river and can hear the water running while you study. It is also just far enough away from the busiest parts of campus that it feels a little calmer. It is the perfect place to sit down, enjoy the sound of the river, and work on your homework.

Another one of my favorite places to study is the Seamans Center. I personally love the Flag Room because there are booths where you can sit and spread out all of your stuff. This spot isn’t outside, but when it’s cold, rainy, or even windy, it’s my go-to place to get work done.

Overall, finding the right study spot can make doing homework a lot more enjoyable, especially when the weather starts getting nicer. Whether you prefer studying outside on the grass, by the river, or inside somewhere cozy, there are so many great places around campus to get your work done. So, grab your backpack, find a spot you love, and enjoy studying in the spring weather.
